Pro Staff Members Mission Work

This weeks "Field Tip" is a little different. This week I am giving you an update letter from one of our pro staff that is doing true field work!

Dear Family,

Just got back from a long weekend in the NW mountains of this country. God did some wonderful things!
1. Passover message and Lord's Table in Titus missionary Dale Barkubein's mountain church of 75 folks, at around 6500' elevation! Highest elevation I've ever preached at!
2. Commissioning service followed! Spoke a charge message to the 3 young men and the church. Those 3 will preach while Dale is on furlough and will also be starting two more works up high!
3. Preached near a chicken coop house (only way to describe) under a thatched roof, to over 65 adults and kids yesterday afternoon. About 6 adults professed faith in Christ, but Dale and Annabelle will follow up and see what God did. Dale was excited.
4. Last Thurs spoke in a Christian college chapel, gave the example of how God taught me to love Muslims during my 06 trip to Israel, and afterwards they told me that they were going on a short term trip to Mindinao area of S. Philippines, to minister to Muslims! God knew that when He directed me on my message, didn't He?!
5. Lots of meetings with Tom Dennison and Filipino pastors who are partnering with Titus Far East (getting Filipino missionaries to closed countries in SE Asia), plus planning the future of Titus' presence in this country.
Been up and traveling to minister before 6AM 4 days in a row, finishing at dark, so we're taking Tues off to see some WW 2 sites, including the start of the Bataan Death March.
Finishing the week with more meetings with Filipino pastors re:their churches supporting TFE church planters short-term, including Dale's 3 guys, and arming their young people to partner with TFE and go to the mission field.
Fly out of here Friday, home by 2PM Saturday.
Can't respond to your responses to this, so just pray for us and we'll correspond with each other next week.
Shalom and all God's best. Your prayers make the fruits yours.
Respectfully,
Fred
